Privacy policy
The short version. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds nothing from a third party — the typefaces and every other asset are served from this domain. Our applications are built local-first: your content stays on your device unless a feature you switched on genuinely needs to send something, and we tell you when that is the case.
1. Who we are
B.R.A.I.N. Solutions LLC ("B.R.A.I.N. Solutions", "we", "us") is a limited liability company registered in the United States. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
Privacy contact: privacy@brainsolutionsllc.com
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers this website and the mobile and web applications we publish. Where an individual application handles data differently — for example, one that offers an optional account or an optional AI feature — that application ships its own privacy notice, available on its App Store or Google Play listing and inside the app itself. Where the two differ, the application's own notice governs that application.
3. Information this website collects
Nothing we collect ourselves
This site is a set of static files. It has no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no analytics or advertising scripts, no session storage and no third-party embeds. Typefaces are self-hosted, so loading a page makes no request to any other company.
What our hosting provider records
Like any web host, our provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, timestamp, the file requested, referring page and browser user-agent — to deliver the site, keep it secure and defend against abuse. These logs are held on our behalf, retained for a short period under the provider's standard practice, and are not used to build a profile of you or combined with anything else.
If you email us
When you write to one of the addresses on this site we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use it only to answer you and to keep a record of the correspondence, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
4. Information our applications handle
Across our applications the following principles hold:
- Local-first storage. Study progress, saved items, preferences and user-supplied content are stored on your device by default.
- Secrets in secure storage. Any credential an app needs is held in the platform's own secure storage, never in ordinary settings and never in our source code.
- No advertising and no tracking SDKs. We do not embed advertising networks, cross-app tracking, fingerprinting or data brokers, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes.
- No protected health information. Our applications are educational and operational tools. They are not designed to receive patient-identifiable clinical information and must not be used to enter it. See What our software is for the full statement.
- Optional network features are disclosed. Where a feature sends something off the device — an optional AI assistant, licensed image lookup, a sync service — the app says so at the point of use, and the feature can be left switched off.
Third-party services used by some applications
An application may call a third-party service to provide an optional feature. Where it does, that application's own privacy notice names the service. Typical categories are AI language-model providers (for optional assistant and content-generation features) and openly licensed media indexes (for illustrative imagery). We send such services only what the feature needs, never your identity, and never anything we have told you stays on the device.
5. Children
Our applications are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to privacy@brainsolutionsllc.com and we will delete it.
6. Legal bases and your rights
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site and in answering correspondence, and on your consent for any optional feature you switch on. Where the CCPA/CPRA applies: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Subject to local law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our processing, ask for a portable copy, and withdraw a consent you previously gave. Write to privacy@brainsolutionsllc.com. We answer within 30 days, and we will not charge you or treat you differently for asking. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
7. Retention and security
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the matter and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete it. The site is served over HTTPS with modern transport security. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the surface small on purpose: less collected data is less data at risk.
8. International transfers
We operate from the United States, and our hosting provider may serve this site from edge locations worldwide. Where personal information is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on the appropriate safeguards available to us, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting information already collected will be announced on this page before they take effect.
